In the Court Reporting Program, learn skills to enter into a career as a verbatim reporter in courts of law and legal and business offices.

The College of Marin Court Reporting Program is recognized by the Court Reporters Board of California. College of Marin is the only community college in the North Bay that offers court reporting.

  • Make your own hours as a freelance court reporter or become a salaried worker as an official court reporter.
  • Become a stenocaptioner and provide captions for hearing-impaired viewers.
  • Join the private sector and do work in arbitration, legal meetings, depositions, and other transcription services.
