Do you find it rewarding to work with people? Do you want to join a rapidly growing profession in the medical field? The Medical Assisting program provides an opportunity for the development of basic entry-level skills.

Work directly with physicians and other healthcare personnel to provide patient services. Perform a variety of clinical, laboratory, and administrative functions in physicians’ offices, medical clinics, laboratories, and specific hospital departments.

Careers in Medical Assisting

  • Assist physicians and other team members in a medical office or clinic.
  • Work in a trauma center, long-term acute care hospital, or skilled nursing facility.
  • Specialize in administrative or clinical work, or both.
  • Continue your training and become an EKG technician or phlebotomy technician.
