Careers in Food and Beverage, Entertainment and Recreation, Hotel Operations, and Travel and Tourism

• Work in the food and beverage industry as a food service supervisor or food service manager
• Work in a hotel as a lodging manager
• Plan, direct, or coordinate the operations of public or private sector organizations as an operations manager

Transfer Opportunities and Pathways

A Hospitality major can be found at many bachelor’s granting institutions. Some universities and colleges may even have similar, but more specified majors to explore, that could align better with your interests. Examples include Management, Culinary Arts, International Business, Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Studies, Arts/Sports Management, Public Relations, and many more.

• Compare average admit GPAs across similar majors at the UCs
• Learn what major prep courses you need to take in order to transfer to the UCs or CSUs
• Explore similar majors at private and out-of-state institutions
