The Real Estate Program is designed to serve individuals planning to enter the real estate profession, the person who wishes to improve skills and qualify for the real estate sales and broker’s license, and active professionals working on license renewal.

Careers in Real Estate

• Work in a real estate office, bank, or savings and loan corporation
• Work for a title company, escrow company, or corporation
• Become a real estate appraiser, agent, or broker
• Manage properties as a property manager

Transfer Opportunities and Pathways

A Real Estate major can be found at many bachelor’s granting institutions. Some universities and colleges may even have similar, but more specified majors to explore, that could align better with your interests. Examples include Accounting, Marketing, Finance, Construction Management, Interior Design, and many more.

• Search a list of Real Estate related majors at the UCs’ and CSUs
• Compare average admit GPAs across similar majors at the UCs
• Learn what major prep courses you need to take in order to transfer to the UCs or CSUs
• Explore similar majors at private and out-of-state institutions
